Mrs. Wells and daughter Etta left for their home at Big Springs, Adams County, on Saturday last, after an extended visit with Mrs. John Masten.

G. J. Walbridge of Colby, offers his store for sale or will trade for good farm property as he wishes to devote his time to other business.

Bert Adams, leader of the National Band, is the proud possesser of a new silver cornet which he received last week. Bert is a jim dandy with a cornet.

Wm. Walsdorf will give a dance at his hall on Easter Monday, March 30th. Music by the Germania String Band. Tickets 50c. Everybody invited.

The ladies social circle will meet with Mrs. Wm. Barrett Thursday afternoon, March 26th. A cordial invitation is extended to all. ...........Mrs. Thompkins Sec.

Geo. B. Parkhill vice L. O. Garrison resigned, at this place, and C. Griswold vice F. Rabanstorf removed, at Stanley, are among the new postmasters appointed during the past week.
