Miss Loraine Beaver was united in marriage to Mr. Alfred Degenhardt, Saturday morning, June 22, at 8 o’clock, with a very impressive service.

The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Aurit, with a nuptial mass, and was attended by many friends of the bridal pair.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beaver of Loyal. She wore a gown of rough crepe rose silk, with a white picture Hat and other accessories of white. She wore a shoulder of yellow roses and sweet peas.

The bridesmaid, Miss Kathryn Beaver, a cousin of the bride, was also dressed in a rose colored dress, white hat, and shoulder bouquet of roses and sweet peas.

The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Degenhardt of Loyal. He wore a suit of oxford gray while his attendant, Gilbert Beaver, brother of the bride, wore a suit of navy blue,

A lovely wedding breakfast for the bridal party was served at Hotel Johnston, after which they left for a short wedding trip to the Wisconsin Dells and other places.

They will make their home with the groom’s parents on their farm in the Town of Loyal.

Their many friends wish for them much happiness and success as they make their journey through life together.
