Lulloff, Ferdinand W. (1880 - 1957)

Colby - Ferdinand W. Lulloff, 77, founder and operator of a furniture and undertaking business here since 1906, a member of the Clark County Board of Supervisors, former alderman and school board official, and president of the Colby State Bank, died shortly after 10 o’clock last night at his home here after an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Christian officiating. Burial will be made in the Colby Cemetery.

Mr. Lulloff was born May 17, 1880, in the town of Green Grove and lived in this area all of his life, except for several years spent at Oshkosh and Quincy, Ill. He was married in Milwaukee on Sept. 21, 1910, to Bertha Baumgart, who survives him.

He served as a member of the city council for many years and was clerk of the elementary school board for 20 years. He was elected to the Clark County Board of Supervisors in 1942 and served continuously as a member of that body since that time.

He had been a director of the Colby State Bank since 1944 and was president of the institution at the time of his death.

Other survives include a daughter, Mrs. Woodrow (Margaret) Tesmer, Colby; three grandchildren, and a brother, E. H. Lulloff, Tomahawk. A sister and two brothers preceded him in death.
