Molle, La Vonne (Marriage - 1956)

Miss La Vonne Molle and Delbert Schuette, route 1, Unity, were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in South Green Grove Township. The Rev. Martin Krause officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the principals are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Molle and Mr. and Mrs. William Schuette, all of route 1, Unity.

Bridal attendants were the bride’s sister, Miss Sharon Molle, as maid of honor; the groom’s sister, Miss Constance Schuette, and the bride’s cousin, Miss Carjean Molle, as bridesmaids. Attending the groom were his brothers, Eldred, the bride’s brother Roger Molle, and Dennis Seefeldt.

The bridal gown was fashioned of Chantilly lace over satin with a fitted bodice featuring a scalloped neckline and long sleeves. The full skirt over satin was floor length, and her veil of illusion was caught to a tiara of pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and stephanotis surrounding an orchid.

The bridal attendants wore blue lace and net full skirted gowns with matching short veiled headpieces.

A reception and supper followed at the home of the bride’s parents with 175 guests in attendance.

The young couple will reside on the groom’s farm on route 1, Unity.
