Schueler, August (9 DEC 1836 - 13 JUL 1899)

Died, at his home in Abbotsford, Wis., on Thursday, July 13th, 1899, of Bright’s Disease, August Schueler, in the 63rd year of his age.

August Schueler was born at Althof, Posen, Germany, Dec. 9th, 1836. He was united in marriage with Miss Augusta Engel in 1858, came to America in 1867, and located at Lomira, Dodge Co., Wis., where he resided until in 1884, when he removed to Abbotsford and has lived there since. He leaves to survive him a wife, three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Alb. Franz and Mrs. Nelson of Abbotsford, and nine grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the Lutheran Church in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Sunday afternoon, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
