Fackler, W.D. (15 AUG 1868 - 5 MAY 1935)

W. D, Fackler, 66, passed away at his home two miles northwest of Loyal Sunday, May 5th at about 11:00 P.M., cause of his death being pneumonia.

The deceased, a son of James and Julia Fackler, both deceased, was born in Humpville, Ill., Aug. 15, 1868. In 1905 he was united in marriage to Katie Schuld at Wausau.

During their married life Mr. and Mrs. Fackler lived in Saskatchewan, Canada ; LaCrosse, and Minneapolis (12 years) before coming to Loyal about 10 years ago.

The deceased is survived by his wife, two brothers, Emery and Sam Fackler of Moline, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Artie Hughs, Mont, Ill., and Mrs. Chas. Deal of Arpatha, Ill.

Funeral services were held from St. Anthony’s Church Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. Interment was made in the parish cemetery, Rev. Father A. J. Aurit officiating.
