Everson, Ellen (25 MAR 1935)

Miss Ellen Everson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Everson of St. Charles, South Dakota and Oscar Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thompson of the town of York were united in marriage March 25th. The marriage ceremony was performed in the M. E. Church in Gregory, S. D., with Rev. R. M. Walker of Colomi officiating in the presence of the bride’s immediate family. Miss Magdalene, sister of the bride and her brother Royal attended the newlyweds. Following their marriage a delicious luncheon was served at the bride’s home, after which the young couple left for a short wedding trip visiting relatives at Stanton and Lincoln, Nebraska and Algona, Iowa.

The bride was born in St. Charles S. D., and attended common school at that place, graduating from St. Charles High School in the class of 1928. Since that time she has spent most of her time as secretary to her father, National President of the Farmers Union. The groom is an ambitious young farmer of this vicinity.

The newlyweds will make their home on the groom’s farm in the town of York.

Their many friends wish them a long and happy wedded life.

West York Cor.
