Attend the Social Circle entertainment at Mrs. B. J. Brown's, on Tuesday next.

J. H. Sargent has a hen's egg on exhibition measuring 9 ½ inches one way and 6 ½ inches the other.

John Gray, who in now employed in a store at Ossco, is in the village visiting for a few days.

Miss Cora Gwinn, of Loyal, arrived in the village on Wednesday and is visiting at C. F. Stone's.

Connors & Meritt will give a dance on next Thursday afternoon and evening. Everybody cordially invited.

John McGrogan was married at Wrightstown on Wednesday and is expected to arrive here with his bride to-day.

Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Fullmer, of Loyal, visited a few days with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Mosher, during the past week.

At the school meeting of dist. No. 2, town of Thorp, held on Monday evening last, Wm. Jerard was elected Director and Hugh Clark Treasurer.

Dan Harbaugh, who is nearly disabled by rheumatism has been granted an army pension of $6 per month with an accumulated arrearage of $1,000.

Mr. Corn, while searching for his lost cow on Sunday night, lost himself, but was piloted by a number of men who searched for him with lanterns and fire arms.
