William H. Sommer (4 March 1877 - 8 December 1953)

 

William Sommer Dies at Age of 75 NEENAH — William H. Sommer, 75, of 615 Church St.. died unexpectedly at 5:45 a.m. today at his home. Born March 4, 1S78, in Sheboygan County.  Mr. Sommer was a cheesemaker by trade. He was a resident of Neenah the past 26 years and a member of Martin Luther Church (shown below).

 

Surviving are his wife, Julia; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Sommer, Curtis, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Porath of Suring, Wis., and Bernice Sommer at home; three sons, Ray, of Bradford, Pa., S. A. Sommer, and R. B. Somer, both of Neenah; three brothers, Otto, Neenah, Theodore, Curtis and the Rev. August Sommer.  Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Laabs, and Mrs. Paul Woick, both of Curtis; and nine grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p. m.  Friday at the Westgor Funeral Home and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Paul Hartwig, pastor of Martin Luther Church.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
