Schuette, Jeanne Marie (Marriage - 16 Jan. 1971)

An embossed white velvet A-line gown with matching train and pearl lily-shaped veil was worn by a bride of Saturday, Jan. 16, as she was married at 2:30 o’clock that afternoon in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Curtiss, Wis.

Miss Jeanne Marie Schuette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville D. Schuette, Curtiss, said her vows with James Walter Prokosch, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James N. Prokosch Sr., Route 1, Spencer, before the Rev. Roger S. Tellock.

She was given at the nuptial ceremony by her father. Miss Rhonda Mattson was organisht and Bruce Klocke the soloist.

Miss Schuette complemented her bridal gown with cascade arrangement of red roses, ivy, and white pompons.

Her bridal aides—Miss Joan Fredrickson, Curtiss, maid of honor; Miss Donna Augustine and Miss Judy Augustine, Curtiss; Miss Judy Zvolena, Loyal, and Mrs. Dennis Schumacher, Spencer, bridesmaids, carried white pompons with matching net and velvet streamers.

They wore A-line velvet and lace gowns in empire style of violet, medium blue, purple, royal blue and burgundy.

Attendants of the groom included Ronald Wolfe, Loyal, best man; Kenneth Kalepp, Leo Apfelbeck, both of Colby, Richard Kloehn, Unity, and James Schuette, Curtiss, groomsmen.

Loran Schulz died ushering duties.

Following the church services, a reception and dinner took place at the Curtiss School and the wedding dance that evening took place at the Village Plaza in Spencer.

Mrs. Prokosch, who has been employed at the Marshfield Clinic, is a 1967 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1969 graduate of Jefferson School of Commercial Art, La Crosse. Her husband, employed by Wick Building Systems, Inc. In the Artcraft Division - Spencer, graduated in 1968 from Spencer High School.

The newlyweds are residing at Kilty’s Kountry Kourt, route 2, Spencer.
