Anna Block Kipp 1906 - 1967

Former Ingram Resident Dies At Eau Claire Anna Kipp, 61, for many years a resident of the Ingram community, died at Luther hospital, Eau Claire, Friday, Dec. 26, after a two-months' illness.

Last rites were held Monday, 2 p. m., from the McElravy funeral home to the Methodist church at Ingram, with Rev. Crandell officiating. Interment was made in the Hawkins cemetery. Anna Block, daughter of Fred and Anna Block, was born at Duluth, Minn., Nov. 4, 1886. Her father died when she was still a child and she moved with her mother to Curtiss in 1906 (where she worked a Block's Cafe), later moving to Ingram.

Her marriage to Frank Kipp took place at Ladysmith June 22, 1918. They lived on a farm north of Ingram until the death of Mr. Kipp in 1940. Mrs. Kipp then made her home in Ingram with her mother until the latter's death two years ago, at which time she moved to Eau Claire.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Markisan, Eau Claire, and Mrs. Margaret Iverson, Oconomowoc, and a brother, Charles Block, Chicago.
