Lingren, Arvid R. (20 Aug. 1909 - 27 Jan. 1969)

Owen - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alliance Church for Arvid R. Lingren 59, route 2, Owen, who died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. The Rev. Arnold Woodrign, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the Riverside Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home until the times of the services.

Mr. Lingren was born Aug. 20, 1909 in Waukegan, Ill., and came to the Owen area as a young boy. He was married at Curtiss June 30, 1951, to Anne Mae Wcesneski. He operated a farm in the town of Green Grove, and hauled milk to factories for farmers. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Alliance Church.

Survivors include his wife; two children, Gary and Debra, both at home; two brothers, Axel, Owen; Arthur, Illinois; and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Johnson and Mrs. Herb Anderson, both of Chicago, Ill.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
