Pathmasters have begun road work and have made some nice turnpikes.

Mrs. Ray Hilton and Mabel Mack of Loyal, were guests of L. W. Mack and wife Sunday.

Two pretty little fawns came out of the woods last Thursday and gave the scholars in Dist. No. 3 a little excitement.

Walter Rowe and Warren Turner were scared out of a year’s growth last Thursday night by a big black bear which suddenly confronted them and showed his teeth. The boys drove him away with clubs.

Walter Graves and wife drove to Beaver Friday.

Rev. L. Allen occupied the pulpit in the Center Church last Sunday.

The young people enjoyed a social hop Wednesday evening at S. Winn’s.

Fred Benedict and Ed Cochrane drove to Loyal Saturday evening.

Walter and Irving Lyman of Galesville, visited Albion and Loren Snyder the past week.

Army worms have already begun their disastrous work in this vicinity.

Herb Gibson and wife have gone to Rhinelander to spend their honeymoon.

A picnic will be given in the grove July 4th.

A candy sociable will be given next Wednesday evening at the home of Miss Sadie Graves.
