Jack Frost has done considerable damage to crops.

We beg pardon for the slight mistake that occurred in our items last week.

S. D. Gibson started the cheese factory last week.

Five dollars were the receipts of the sociable Wednesday evening.

The light fantastic was tripped at Johnny Ebbe’s Wednesday night.

Miss Effie Gibson spent last week at Granton.

H. F. Gibson and Dan Davidson made a business trip to Chili Thursday.

The latest addition to the family of Mr. Chas. Benedict, is a daughter.

Several of our farmers delivered cattle to Neillsville Saturday.

An agent from Kaukauna canvassed the town last week for the latest improved fanning mill and met with good success.

Elder and Mrs. Hoffman were down from Loyal Thursday, calling on friends.

Bills are out for the regular annual camp meeting. It will be under the direction of A. J. Davis, presiding elder, and M. Haney, the evangelist. It will begin June 17th.

A. Benedict was at Lynn Thursday.

Fire broke out in the F. M. Church last Sunday morning. Janitor Bolton built a fire in the stove and then left the church, to attend to some duty elsewhere. It broke out during his absence and had it not been for the timely arrival of A. E. Garvin, the church would have been consumed by the flames. He checked the flames before any serious damage was done.

August Nameitt was seriously injured Monday while falling a tree. He had be carried to the house and at this writing he is in a bad condition.
