Miss Yvonne Marie Lobacz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lobacz was given in marriage by her father to William J. Petkovsek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Petkovsek, on Saturday, Aug. 13, 1966 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Chapel, Thorp. Rev. Edward Masalewicz performed the 10:00 a.m. marriage ceremony and Nuptial High Mass.

The bride wore a floor length dress of delicate clouds of French Chantilly lace fashioned with a long traditional tapered sleeves. A scalloped bateau neckline etched with pearls. The bouffant skirt was dramatized by the scalloped hemline and a garland of roses embraced the waistline and provided fetching back in the rest.

She carried pink roses with lace ribbon.

The bride's brothers Roy and Roger carried wine and water to the altar.

Miss Antonette Lobacz, the bride's sister, was maid of honor,a nd the bridesmaids were Delores Petkovsek, Waukegan, Ill., sister of the groom, Miss Nancy Welzien, Mrs. Robert Schumacher, Little Chute, friends of the bride.

The bridesmaids wore floor length dresses of embossed peau in blue, aqua, pink and yellow featuring a sleeveless bodice of lace.

A poof back highlighted the bouffant skirt. Their bustle veils secured to petal cloth in harmonizing color. They carried bouquets of pompoms and tea roses in pink and white. The ribbons matched each of the dresses.

Ed Petkovsek, Waukegan, brother of the groom, was best man. The attendants were Charles Bruske, Chicago, cousin of the groom, and William Boh, Marshfield.

The bride's mother wore a powder blue three piece suit with white accessories and wore a corsage of pink tea roses.

The groom's mother wore a navy blue dress with rhinestone accessories and a corsage of pink tea roses.

A heart shaped cake three tiers high with blue roses and two small heart shaped cakes with the bride's and groom's name on the wedding cake.

Dinner, supper, reception and dance were held at St. Hedwig's Quonset Hall, Thorp.

Guests were from Thorp, Owen, Withee, Greenwood, Chippewa Boyd, Little Chute, Marshfield, Stanley, Chicago, South Dakota, Waukegan, Carpentersville, Minn., St. Paul, Willard.

The honeymoon was spent in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota.
