Balicki, Arthur M. (8 May 1945 - 28 April 2014) With Flag

Arthur M. Balicki, 68, of Elkhorn, WI, died unexpectedly Monday, April 28, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 8, 1945, in Stanley, WI, the son of the late Malen J. and Josephine (Jurgelewicz) Balicki. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Art served in the U. S. Army from 1965 until 1967 with a tour of duty in Fulda, German. He was united in marriage to the former Mary Rutter on October 1, 1972, in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Mary died November 18, 2005. For over 22 years Art worked for Runzheimer International as a Corporate Relocation Specialist, retiring in 2003. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Elkhorn. He enjoyed working in his yard and garden. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his two children: David (Correen) Balicki and Kristin Balicki; his two granddaughters: Elizabeth and Katherine; and his sister, Bernice “Bunny” Balicki.

A funeral Mass was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday May 5, 2014, at St. Patrick’s Church, 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Elkhorn, WI. Visitation was Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m. at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin Street, Elkhorn, WI.
