Fowler, Cady D. (3 MAR 1859)

Cady D. Fowler was born in Ashtabula Co., Ohio, March 3, 1859, came to Wisconsin with his parents in 1867, and settle near Humbird, Clark County, Wis. He married Mattie Staves Feb. 4, 1883, and has three children. After his marriage he settled on a farm, which he now owns, four miles west of Humbird, and lived there ten years, then went to Fairchild for two years. While there he was in the employ of the N. C. Foster Lumber Co. He went next to Eleva, having charge of the lumber yard and was there ten years. He moved to Humbird to take charge of the lumber yard in Oct 1904. He sees no reason why the future of Humbird will not be good, and gives the town credit for all of the late buildings and improvements, good schools, good churches, etc. He things it compares favorably with other towns.
