Mrs. George Iffland, Sr., died at her home in Houghtonburg, Friday evening, June 8, 1906, at the age of 70 years and 3 days. Her last illness dates back over several months, during which time she received all the care that kind hands and laving hearts could give. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon and the mortal remains of Grandma Iffland were consigned to their last resting place in the presence of many of the friends of former years and a large number of friends and neighbors of a younger generation.
