ROBERT ROBERTSON WITHEE, PASSED AWAY

Robert Robertson passed away at his home Thursday evening, April 9, at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 26 days.

Mr. Robertson was born April 15, 1876, in Denmark and came to this country at the age of 18. On April 14 he was united in marriage to Clara Gehrke. The couple made their home on a farm north of Withee, where he lived the remainder of his life. To this union was born nine children, two sons and seven daughters, two of whom preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife; two sons, Ervine of Milwaukee and Earl at home; five daughters, Mrs. Mae Elmendorf of Kent, Wash., Mrs. Marie Plantiko of Wausaukee, Mrs. Elsie Stasko of Stanley, Mrs. Myrtle Arndt of Owen, and Mrs. Pauline Steager of Withee, and 17 grandchildren.

Mr. Robertson was a pioneer settler in this vicinity having lived here for 43 years. He had gained a host of friends by his thoughtfulness and considerate ways. He was a devoted father to his family and his loss will be keenly felt.

Funeral services were held from the Griebenow funeral parlors Monday with John Richards conducting the services and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
