Nicoski, Frances (Marriage - 14 May 1930)

A very pretty spring wedding was solemnized during a 9 o'clock service on May 14, 1930 at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, when Miss Frances Nicoski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Nicoski, 5428 Oakes Av., became the bride of Felix Sapetta of Owen, Clark County, Wis.

Rev. L. S. Nowacki read the exchange of vows, assisted by Rev. R. T. Schultz of Duluth and Rev. F. H. Nowak of East Side. Attendants for the couple were Maylord Marlinowski of Thorp, Wis., best man, and Miss Marie Nicoski, a sister of the bride as maid of honor.

Other attendants were John Kondraszuk of Gilman, Wis., Joseph Nicoski, a brother of the bride, Miss Marie Sapetta of Chicago, niece of the groom, and Miss Estella Shyman of Detroit, Mich., cousin of the bride.

The church was decorated with roses and lilies, and the alter was banked with roses and vases of ferns. Sister Superior played the nuptial music and selections were sung by the school choir.

A sleeveless semi-formal gown of white satin was chosen by the bride as he nuptial dress, and was fashioned with a full skirt, uneven hemline dipping to the floor in back. Her veil, which was arranged in coronet effect, was of Venetian lace and set with pearls and rhinestones. White satin slippers and corresponding hose were chosen. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.

Miss Marie Nicoski chose a frock of orchid taffeta in period model with a long skirt. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and wore a head band of orchid chiffon. Miss Sapetta wore a yellow net gown fashioned similar to that of Miss Nicoski and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Shyman's gown was of egg shell chiffon with panels of acru lace. She carried a bouquet of peach tea roses. Both bridesmaids wore chiffon head bands, hose and footwear in corresponding shades to their frocks.

Breakfast was served following the ceremony at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Sapetta are on a tour of the West before making their home in Owen, Wis.

Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Anton Sapetta of Owen; Mrs. John Jurmoluk of Gilman; Mrs. Helen Nicoski and Miss Theresa Nicoski of Gilman, Wis.
