Butler, Eileen (Marriage - 12 JUN 1929)

The following account of the wedding of Frederick Radke, Jr., was taken from the Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, under date of Wednesday, June 12, 1929. It follows:

Miss Eileen Butler, 54 North Marr St., and Frederick Radke, Jr., the former a daughter of Mrs. Alpin Butler and the latter a son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Radke of Owen, Clark County, Wis., were united in marriage at the parsonage of St. Mary's Church at noon today. A few friends and immediate relatives witnessed the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Peter Gersbach.

The bride wore a tan lace dress with a corsage bouquet of rosebuds and a picture hat to correspond with her dress. She was attended by Mrs. Arnold Westphal, who was attired in a frock of flowered chiffon and also had a bouquet of roses. Alex Simpson served as groomsman.

A wedding luncheon was served at Mrs. Groll's Coffee Shop for 25, out of town guests being Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Radke of Owen, Miss Anna Furhrman, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Kalt of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Butler of New London.

Following a wedding trip through the West and South, Mr. and Mrs. Radke returned to Owen, where the groom is secretary and treasurer of the Radke Wood Products Co.
