Evelyn (Bauer) Keller (1912 - 1981)

Evelyn K. Keller, 69, 740 13th St. N., died of a heart seizure at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverview Hospital, where she had been admitted Friday.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Andrew Karoblis will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Keller was born February 9, 1912, in Riplinger, Clark County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bauer. She married Clarence Keller in Winona, Minnesota, September 20, 1930.

She had lived in Wisconsin Rapids since 1928 and had worked as a cook in various area restaurants. She was a member of the Wisconsin Rapids Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her mother, Lena Bauer, Port Edwards; her husband; one son, Robert, Wisconsin Rapids; three daughters, Shirley Giese, Joyce Kehrberg, and Charlene Rendmeister, all of Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Paul Bauer, state of Washington; six sisters, Marcel Nowalis, Milwaukee; Angeline Ebsen, Wisconsin Rapids; Velma Blagdson, state of Washington; and Genevieve Budrow, Madeline Bauer and Eleanor Day, all of California; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends May call from 3 until 9 p.m. today at Higgins Funeral Home, where there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
