Joseph N. Bauer Joseph N. Bauer, age 65, of Route 1, Cadott, died suddenly Sunday afternoon, March 2, 1975 at the Birch Point Resort in the Town of Bloomer.

He was born march 23, 1909, in the Town of Beaver, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bauer. In 1930, he married Lila Poppe in Owen, and she preceded him in death in 1953.

He farmed in the Route 1, Cadott area before moving to St. Paul, where he was employed by Armour’s Meat Packing Plant.

Mr. Bauer was a member of the St. Paul National Guard in St. Paul. He lived there for 12 years, returning in 1851 to the Route 1, Cadott area, where he farmed until 1955.

He then own and operated his own school bus for the Chippewa Falls School System from 1955 until retiring in 1973. On October 20, 1956, he married Evelyn Yoost in Chippewa Falls.

Mr. Bauer was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jim Falls, and the Guild.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Miss Sandra J. Bauer, Black Eagle, Montana, and Carol and Sally Bauer, both at home, seven sons, Thomas, Black Eagle, Montana, Richard, Route 1, Cadott, and Harry, Jeffrey, John, Roger and Robert, all at home; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, nine brothers and one granddaughter, Rebecca Jean.

Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Jim Falls, with Father Myron Mercier officiating. Burial will be in the family lot of Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
