Douphner, David (1854? - 20 Dec 1924)

David Douphner, who has been an inmate at the Clark County Asylum for the past three years, died Saturday of a complication of diseases. For a great many years he had made his home at Withee, Clark County, Wis., with his brother, Felix Douphner, and after his mind began to weaken he was removed to the county hospital for the insane. He was about seventy years of age, and has not relatives living except his brother, who is a resident of the village of Withee.

Funeral services were held Monday from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Douphner of Withee, and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
