Miss Vinnie Jones who has been spending her summer vacation at Duluth visiting her Uncle Ira Jones and family, returned home Saturday to be on hand to take charge of her department when school opens.

Jennie Burnett, who is visiting friends in St. Paul, Will return home the latter part of this week, when she will again open her dressmaking establishment, and invites her former customers to call on her.

Last week a number of Grantonites were in this city attending a law suit brought from that place in regard to some cheese which was destroyed in the fire in that city last fall. The question was, who owned the cheese.

Come to the Phonographic concert at the M. E. church Saturday evening. Admission 15 and 10 cents. This concert was given at Black River Falls last week to a well filled house, and everybody was well pleased. Come
