Mrs. James O’Neill and daughter Marion, who have been at the Sanitarium in Battle Creek, Mich., for a couple of months or more, returned home Tuesday. Marion who has been quite ill, is now much better.

JN. J. White and wife, Mrs. H. J. Blanchard, Mrs. Chas. Taylor and Mrs. J. Bryant, of Colby, and Mrs. Tenant and Mrs. Chas. Partridge, of Abbotsford, visited in this city last week during the Veteran’s reunion, and were the guest of Mrs. Legare Potter.

During Monday’s storm lightning struck several places near this city. It is reported that Mrs. L. Archer’s farm residence, a few miles south of town, was struck three times during the storm and that Andrew Shupe, of the town of Washburn, had a valuable cow killed.
