R. J. MacBride made a trip to Marshfield Tuesday.

Spence Marsh is confined to his house with an attack of tonsillitis.

Frank Andrews, of Greenwood, was in the city the latter part of last week.

Miss Frankie Boardman is spending her vacation in Marshfield among friends.

C. M. Bradford is moving his family into Geo. Huntzecker’s house on the North Side, to-day.

Henry Schildhauer came up from Madison last Saturday to visit a couple of days with friends.

Mrs. Wm. Lempke arrived in this city Tuesday night to attend the inquest of her late husband.

It is reported that one of Charlie Hyslip’s horses broke its leg Monday and the animal had to be killed.

Vet. Marsh and Cy. Stockwell, of Granton, attended the Masonic funeral of E. M. McConnell Sunday last.

Miss Frankie Isaacson, of Superior, arrived here Monday morning for a visit to her sister, Mrs. Frank Archer.

Geo. Mead and Angelo Lyons have purchased one of the latest well drilling machines of C. Cornelius and are now ready to go for water anywhere, down to four hundred feet. The boys say they can drill wells but will never take water for anyone.

The father and sister of E. M. McConnell arrived at Merrillan from Ohio on Friday evening. They were met there by C. F. Grow, and they drove through to this city that night. On Tuesday they started on their return trip. Accompanied by Mrs. McConnell, who will make her home in Ohio for a time at least.

Rev. T. G. Owen came up from Arcadia Tuesday to officiate at the marriage of Miss Lettie Leason to Mr. Vern Nason, Nasonville, which took place at the residence of the bride’s parents in this city on Wednesday morning, December 10th. Thus has another of Neillsvilles blooming belles take upon herself the vows of matrimony.
