Ralph Behrens

Ralph Behrens, 44, Colby, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003 at the Colonial Center, Colby. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. The Rev. Mark Neumann officiated. Burial was in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Ralph Behrens was born July 13, 1959 to Richard "Chick" and Olga (nee Wiersig) Behrens. He was a 1977 Colby High School graduate. He married Carmen Gray-Fecker on May 11, 1985, and they later divorced. He worked at Weather Shield, Medford. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its dart ball team. His interests included NASCAR racing, model car building, bowling, and softball.

Survivors include his children, Ashley Behrens, Brett Behrens, and Kyle Behrens, all of Colby; his mother, Olga Behrens, Colby; two brothers, Stanley Behrens, Spencer, Phillip Behrens, Marshfield; and two nephews, Adam Phillippi and Derek Behrens.

Preceding him in death were his father, Richard Behrens, on Nov. 3, 2002; and one niece, Jodie Behrens, on May 17, 1984.

Community Funeral Home, Colby, assisted the family with arrangements.
