Scheel, Anna Caroline (1873 - 16 May 1920)

Mrs. Caroline Scheel passed away at her home in this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) on Sunday, May 16, 1920., and was laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery Tuesday, May 18th, funeral services being conducted from the house at 2:00 p.m., Rev. George Crow of the Methodist Church of Withee officiating. She was taken suddenly ill on Tuesday of the week before, suffering a stroke of paralysis and from then on did not regain her strength. She leaves to mourn five sons, Edward, eldest, age 29, Walter, Henry, Arthur and Alfred, aged 13, and one daughter, Agnes. Mrs. Scheel had been a resident of Owen for the past seventeen years, her husband preceding her in death about six years ago. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community.
