(Marriage - 26 Sep 1929) An interesting
wedding will take place this Thursday afternoon, Sept. 26, 1929, at
3:00 o'clock, at the Lutheran Church of Colby, Wis., Rev.
Kirchhoefer officiating, when Miss Elsie Grauman, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. Grauman, will become the bride of Mr. Maynard
Schwantes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schwantes. Ermine Schwantes will
act as bridesmaid and Dorothy Grauman will be maid of honor. The
groom will be attended by Donald Schwantes and Edwin Grauman. The bride's dress
will be of white georgette trimmed with lace and veil and her
bouquet will consist of carnations. The maid of honor will wear a
dress of orchid satin and her bouquet will also consist of
carnations. There will be
special music at the wedding and a vocal duet by the Misses Wilma
and Wolga Winkert of Rib Falls, Wis. A wedding reception will be
given at the home of the bride's parents and the home will be
nicely decorated in pink and white for the occasion. A wedding
dance will be given in the evening. The newlyweds will
make their home at Stillwater, Minn., where the groom is conducting
a cheese factory, and will be at home after Oct. 1st. Both the bride and
groom have a host of friends in this vicinity who extend best
