Steder, Anna (20 JAN 1866 - 9 Sep 1926)

Weakened by a few months of illness, Mrs. John C. Steder failed to recover from an operation at the Manitowoc Hospital and passed away Sept. 9 at the hospital. Funeral services were held the following Saturday at St. Boniface Church, Rev. Kersten officiating.

Mrs. Steder was born in Milwaukee Jan. 20, 1866, and, when twelve years old, went to Colby, Wis. with her parents. She was married here to Mr. Steder, Oct. 2, 1884. Her maiden name was Miss Anna Walt. Seven years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Steder removed to Manitowoc to make their home. Of the eight children born to the couple, five passed away. Ten grandchildren also survive and a sister and brother at Bonifay, Fla.
