Wescott, Violet I. (Marriage - 28 OCT 1921)

A pretty wedding was solemnized in this city (Colby, Wis.), when at 4 o’clock last Saturday afternoon, Miss Violet Irma Wescott became the bride of Walter Edmund Maier, both widely known and universally admired young people. The marriage was at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Fred Hutton. A very fine six o’clock dinner was served to a considerable wedding party, after which there were the usual unusual public excercises, mostly noise. After a week of visiting in various places in the state these young people with be "at home" in the "City of the Fliver."
