Roohr, Jake (1848? - 7 JUN 1921)

Jake Roohr, a resident of the town of Beaver, Clark County, Wis. for more than 40 years, died at his home in Loyal last Tuesday of cancer of the stomach at the age of 73 years. Deceased was born in Ohio and came to Neillsville, Clark County 43 years ago. After remaining there a short time he and his family settled on a farm in the town of Beaver, which has been his home up to about a year ago, when he moved to Loyal. He is survived by a widow and nine children, George of this city, Will, Mary, Margaret, John, of the town of Beaver, Fred, town of Unity, Jake, town of Green Grove, Anna, Hazel and Mrs. Henry Goutcher of Loyal.
