Kadonsky, John F. (24 JUN 1834 - 24 Feb 1920)

John F. Kadonsky, one of the pioneer settlers of the town of Holeton, Marathon Co., Wis., died at his home in the village of Abbotsford, Wis. at 6:30 Tuesday morning Feb. 24, 1920. He had not bee a sufferer from any disease in particular and his death was due only to the infirmities of old age.

Deceased was born in Bohemia on June 24, 1834 and came to America in 1866, settling in Milwaukee, Wis. In the year 1877 he went with his family to Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. and settled on a farm in the town of Holeton, Marathon Co., when they continued to lived until five years ago when they moved into the village of Abbotsford.

He is survived by his wife and five children, two sons, John and Frank, and three daughters, Mrs. Peter Kinzel of Norwich, N.D., Mrs. Christina Stoughton of Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. L. B. Buchholz of Abbotsford.

The funeral will be held at Dorchester Friday and the burial will take place in the Dorchester Cemetery.
