Lorraine Kilty

COLBY, WIS. - Lorraine Ruth Kilty, 86, of Colby, Wisconsin, died Aug. 22, 2003, at Colonial Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate.

Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Kilty, Jason Evert, Ryan Berndt, Ken Nelson, Paul Deml and Wally Raczykowski.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Lorraine was born Feb. 28, 1917, in Athens to Otto and Clara (Westfall) Zuelke. Lorraine and Glenn W. Kilty were married June 4, 1937, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity. They farmed in the Unity area and later operated a tavern in Unity from 1952 to 1963. They retired and moved to Colby. Lorraine enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Richard (Patricia) Kilty of Ogema, Roger (Judy) Kilty of Marshfield, Ronald (Cindy) Kilty of Wisconsin Rapids, Randall (Jean) Kilty of Ogema and Kay (DuWayne) Sheets of Colby; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Arlene (Elroy) Bruesewitz of Marshfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, William Zuelke.
