Gravitter, Gertie (Marriage - 9 Feb 1915)

Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Balthasar's Catholic Church, occurred the marriage of Mr. Joseph Windel to Miss Gertie Gravitter, Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating.

The bride was dressed in cream colored messaline trimmed with over lace and wore a silk net veil and carried a bouquet of various kinds of flowers. The groom was handsomely attired in blue serge.

The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Windel of the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., while his bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gravitter of the town of Sherman, Clark County. They were attended by Alphons Lindel and Pauline Gravitter, and Rudolph Gravitter and Katie Windel.

They are both well known and highly esteemed young people, the groom having lived with his parents most of his life. He is an industrious young farmer of good habits. The bride, during her stay in Loyal, has made many friends. After the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents, at which only near friends and relatives were present. The young couple will make their home with the groom's parents for some time, but as soon as the weather permits a new house will be built on the young man's farm in the town of Loyal, which they then will occupy.

Their many friends, together with the Tribune, wish them much luck and happiness through married life.
