Hewett, Vivian (Marriage - 24 JUN 1909)

A very pretty wedding occurred at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hewett, in the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. on Thursday, June 24, 1909, at eight o'clock in the evening, when Mr. Frank Lynch and Miss Vivian Hewett were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The ceremony was witnessed by about fifty invited guests.

The bride was attended by the groom's sister, Miss Edith Lynch of Milwaukee and Miss Mildred Garvin of the town of York, Clark County, cousin of the bride, and the groom by George Hewett, Jr., brother of the bride, and James Hewett, cousin of the bride, of Greenwood, Clark County. Miss Ruth Weast played the wedding march.

The parlor was very prettily decorated with ferns and white roses, the bridal couple standing under an arch of ferns and white roses, with a bell hanging from the center of the arch. The dining room was decorated with ferns and white roses with a bell hanging in the center of the dining room. Tables, which were decorated with pin and white carnations. The bride carried a bouquet of white carnations.

The bride is an accomplished young lady and one of the most charming and winsome young ladies in that community. Her cheerful ways and kind manners have made her a large host of friends, both young and old. The groom is a resident of Milwaukee and is employed in the office of the Wisconsin Bridge and Iron Co. He is a man of sterling qualities with character above reproach.

A bounteous and delicious supper was served, the table fairly groaning beneath its weight of rich viands.

The young couple left from here Monday morning on their wedding trip to Charlotte and Grand Rapids, Mich., and when they return will make their future home in Milwaukee. The writer joins their many friends in wishing them a long life and happy journey on the sea of matrimony.
