Teachers’ Association

At a meeting held January 14th, 1878, in the High School building at Neillsville, measures were taken to organize a Teachers’ Association. A committee of five, consisting of Sup’t J. S. Dore, Mr. Frank Horrel, Mr. Geer, Miss Henry, and Miss Rosa Head, was appointed to draft a constitution and by-laws, and report at the next meeting.

A resolution was passed inviting all the teachers of the county to meet in the Chapel of the Neillsville school house, at 10 a.m., Jan. 26th, 1878, to perfect a permanent organization, discuss important school topics and have a good social time.

All interested in educational matters are earnestly requested to attend.

F. Tudor, Secretary

L. A. Doolittle, Chairman
