Obituary of Mrs. Arne Holopainen

Margaret Sonderegger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sonderegger was born April 8, 1913, at Blanchardville, Wis., and was confirmed at the local Reformed church on May 15, 1932. She was educated in the Maple Center school. On October 28, 1936 she was united in marriage to Arne Holopainen, making their home in the town of Green Grove.

She passed away on Monday, January 24, 1938 at St. Joeph's Hospital, Marshfield, suffering fram a heart stroke.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, one sister, Mrs. Clarence Langfeldt and four brothers, Robert, James, Clarence and Arthur, all of Greenwood. All attended the funeral but Clarence who left two weeks ago for Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Breibnew-Weirich Funeral Home at Owen with Rev. E.g. Pfeiffer officiating. Three songs "Nearer My God To Thee; "Rock Of Ages" and Sweetly Resting" were sung by Mrs. Henry Keiner, Misses Louise and Freda Keiner, accompanied by Mrs. Adolph Meyer. The boyd was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Yench, Paul Brandt, Fred Hohl, Walter Hohl, Sig Anderson and Onnie Mimi (?).

Sonderegger and sons, Arthur, Robert and James, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Sonderegger and daughters Martha and Catherine, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hohl, son Walter and daughter Anita, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hohl, Mrs. Adolph Meyer, Mrs. Henry Keiner, Missis Louise and Freda Keiner, Mrs. Willard Stafford, Rev. and Mrs. P.H. Franzmeier and Rev and Mrs. E.G. Pfeiffer, all of Greenwood.
