Simmons, Lettie (Marriage - 5 Augl 1907)

Mrs. Lettie Simmons of Duluth, Minn., was married to Mr. George Eggett on Monday afternoon, Aug. 5, 1907, at Marshfield at two o'clock at the M. E. Church, Rev. Jenks officiating.

The bride is a niece of John Castner and Mrs. Ward Vanderhoof of this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.), is well and favorably known in this vicinity, having taught school for a number of years between this village and Neillsville, the latter place being her childhood home. The groom is a prosperous farmer in this vicinity, owning a farm two miles west of this village, and is considered one of the substantial men of the county. He has a wide acquaintance here and is admired for his good qualities.

The happy couple arrived Monday evening and after partaking of a fine supper together with immediate relatives at the home of John Castner in this village, they drove to the farm where they will make their future home.

The love and esteem in which this worthy couple was held was shown by the numerous and beautiful presents. The many friends of the bride and groom wish them a long, pleasant and prosperous life.
