Darlene Burzynski

Darlene M. Burzynski, age 71, of Prairie du Sac, WI, died on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at her home.

She was born in Milwaukee on July 9, 1931, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alvina (Doege) Telford. Darlene was in the restaurant business for more than 40 years in the Sauk Prairie area, operating the Penguin Bar and Restaurant in Prairie du Sac.

She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by six children: Bruce Burzynski of Sauk City, Sharon (Jerome) Baker of Mauston, Jeff (Angie) Burzynski of Lodi, Patricia Burzynski of Sauk Ciy, Jackie Pacholke of Praire du Sac, and Mark (Debra) Burzynski of Bloomsburg, PA; 14 grandchildren: David, Diane and Erin Burzynski, Todd, Toni, Tim and Tiffany Baker, Kyle and Brad Burzynski, Jeff and Steve Pacholke and Brianne, Ian and Sarah Burzynski; three great grandchildren: Cody, Nicholas and Chole Baker; three sisters: Adeline Buenting of Sauk City, Dolores Bartz of Stevens Point and Delia Davidson of Sauk City.

A Memorial service was held at Gnewikow-Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
