Shirley M. Henneman 1936-2002

Shirley May Henneman, 66, Raymond, Wash., died on October 14 in the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Wash.

Shirley was born in Cornell on May 22, 1936, the daughter of Henry and Mamie Alix.

On Aug. 20, 1954, she married Lester Henneman Jr. in Stanley. She worked for many years at the H&H Café and later at Walt’s Grocery Store in South Bend, Wash. And Bill and Mary’s Bakery in Raymond, Wash.

Mary enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband, Lester; two daughters, Pam Ekman of Raymond, Wash., and Jodi Henneman of South Bend, Wash.; two grandchildren, Ambritt Ekman-Barnard and Jace Ekman, both of Raymond, Wash., one sister, Vera Haskins of Osseo; three brothers, Joseph and Richard Alix, both of Stanley, and Daniel Alix of Eau Claire.

A Memorial Service was held on Oct. 18, at the New Life Fellowship in Raymond, Wash.

Donations in her memory are suggested to the Raymond Ambulance Fund of the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend, Wash.
