Simon Gorman, who has been quite ill for several months, died at his home in this village on Sunday, Sept. 22, 1918, of Bright's disease, aged 74 years. Mr. Gorman came here about twenty eight years ago, settling on a farm southwest of the village. Some years ago he disposed of the farm and moved to the village. He leaves a wife and five children, Mrs. J. B. Hagarty of St. Paul, Mick of Waterloo, Wis., John of Milwaukee, Walter of Camp Grant and Mrs. C. A. Albert of this village. Also surviving is one brother, Mr. Gorman of New London. The remains were sent to New London, Wis., on Tuesday, where the funeral was held yesterday from the Catholic Church.
