Heiser, Mathias (17 Jul 1880 - 10 OCT 1910)

Mathias Heiser, who has been ill for the past three weeks with typhoid pneumonia, died at his home on Monday, Oct. 10, 1910. Mr. Heiser was born in Manitowoc Co., Wis., on July 17, 1880. In 1906 he was united in marriage with Miss Norah Peterson and a year later they came to Thorp, Clark County, Wis. and purchased their farm adjoining the village. Mr. Heiser was a sturdy, robust young man when illness overtook him, and his recovery was looked for, but a sudden change quickly ended his sufferings. He leaves a wife and two sons, three sisters: Mrs. John Donavan and Mrs. Henry Tunnally of Oconto, Mrs. Walter Peterson of Manitowoc, and four brothers, Nicholas, Peter, Michael, and John Heiser, the latter a resident of Manitowoc. The funeral will take place from St. Bernard's Catholic Church at 9:30 this (Thursday) morning, interment taking place in the Catholic Cemetery.
