COLBY, WIS. - Clarence Wenzel Schilling, 81, of Colby, Wis. died Jan. 28, 2003, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger. Interment will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Maurina Funeral Service of Abbotsford is assisting the family with the arrangements.

He was born Dec. 5, 1921, in the town of Frankfurt, rural Colby. He had farmed in the town of Colby and worked at the box factory in Colby.

Survivors include his wife, Lavilla Schilling of Colby; two sons, Kenneth (Rose) Schilling of Edgar and Jerry (Coral) Schilling of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Bonnie (Ron) Schmitt of Colby; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Schilling and Ervin Schilling, both of Abbotsford and Herb (Jean) Schilling of Colby; and three sisters, Adeline Raasch of Waukesha, Mabel (Harvey) Barts of Abbotsford and Margie (Harlan) Witt of Colby.
