Pepper, Beatrice (Marriage - 28 Augl 1919)

Mr. Leonard Dorst and Miss Beatrice Pepper were quietly married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pepper in the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis., Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1919, Rev. Wilson Mallory of Granton officiating. The groom was attended by Stanley Pepper, brother of the bride and Miss Elsie Dorst, sister of the bridegroom, attended the bride.

Following the ceremony a fine wedding dinner was served. The groom is the son of Michael Dorst of the town of York and has assisted his father on the farm. He served in the army and received his honorable discharge last April on his return from overseas. He is a young man of high character, industrious and enterprising.

The bride came here with her parents when she was a young girl, graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of 1918. She is a young lady well qualified by home training and education to take her place in the community and in the duties of her new home.

The young couple will make their residence at the farm home in York. We join in wishing them success and happiness in their future life. The out of town guests attending the wedding were Miss Edna Atkins, a cousin of the groom from Iowa, John Dorst, an uncle from Eureka, Cal., Miss Nellie Dorst, a sister from Milwaukee, and Raymond Dorst, home from Eleva.
