Bissel, Lovilla (22 May 1886 - 1 Dec 1918)

Mrs. A. L. Bissel died at her home west of the city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Sunday, Dec. 1, 1918, from double pneumonia.

Mrs. Bissel was born May 22, 1886 in the town of Pine Valley, her maiden name being Lovilla Parker. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Hezekiah Parker, early settlers in that town. There she grew to womanhood, and in 1901 she was married to Aaron Leroy Bissel, who survives her. She leaves two children, Blanche and Esther. Mrs. Bissel was much loved by all her associate. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and Rebekahs, and among its membership she had very many warm friends. She was a good wife and mother, taking great interest in the care and education of her little girls, and doing all in her power to help them along in their school work, and make them comfortable and happy.

Her death leaves a sad vacancy in the home and the neighborhood. The funeral will take place from Lowes undertaking rooms Thursday at 1 o'clock, Rev. H. L. Roberts officiating.
