Sauerberg, Fred (19 Mar 1852 - 17 Sep 1918)

Fred Sauerberg, of West Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., died Sept. 17, 1918, aged 66 years, 5 months and 29 days.

He was born in Germany and came to this country 35 years ago, and to Clark County in 1901, locating on the farm where he died, where by industry he developed a fine home. He was a man of intelligence and took an active part in neighborhood development.

He leaves his wife and six children: Otto at Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. August Wagner of Pine Valley, Fred F., Dora, Rudolph and Henry at home.

The funeral will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church in Neillsville, Rev. H. Brandt officiating.
