Spiegel, Clara (Marriage - 7 Apr 1917)

Married at the M.E. Pasonage, rev. L.B. Colman officiating, April 7, 1917, at 6:00 p.m., Mr. Charles Schaper, Jr., of Milwaukee, Wis., and Miss Clara Spiegel, of the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis. They were attended by Alfred Spiegel of Grant, brother of the bride, and Edna Schaper, of Milwaukee, sister of the groom. Mrs. Henry Spiegel, mother of the bride, was also present. The happy couple had supper at the home of a sister, who lives in this city, and took the midnight train for Milwaukee, where they will take up their residence. Mr. Schaper is a steam fitter and a traveling man. The bride was brought up in the town of Grant, and is a young lady of fine appearance, keen intelligence and fine womanly qualities. The Republican and Press feels more than a friendly interest in her welfare, as for some time she was our efficient correspondent for South Grant.
