Pernod, Sarah (4 JAN 1860 - 12 Jan 1917)

After two years of almost constant suffering, Mrs. Sarah M. Pernod found release in death on Friday, Jan. 12, 1917 at her home in the town of Washburn, Clark County, Wis.

Sarah M. Spencer was born Jan. 4, 1860. She was married to Paul Pernod Jan. 26, 1880 at Alexandria, Ind., which was also the place of her birth.

Buneral services were held at the house Monday morning, Rev. S.B. Pinney officiating.

Music was rendered by Mrs. James Carter, Clarence Irish and Mrs. R. Frantz.

The body was laid to rest in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Pernod was a very devout Christian, as her many friends well know.

The husband, Paul Pernod, and one brother, Wm. Spencer, while they mourn her death, rejoice in her consistent Christian life.
